Land O’ Lakes Lowe’s Home Improvement Store Plans Opening in April!

Grand Opening in April, Soft Opening In March

Just in time for everybody’s Spring cleaning events, Lowe’s is set to open its third location in Pasco county,sometime in April. This 152,000 square-foot warehouse has a key location on State Road 54, just east of US 41 and across the street from the Village Lakes Shopping Center in Land O’ Lakes. Residents have been anticipating this grand opening since before the holiday season, as people welcome having a closer place for all of their ‘do-it-yourself’ tasks!

In advance of their soft opening, Lowe’s is the lead sponsor of the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce’s Community Fun Day and Business Expo, a two-day free event on March 6 & 7 that is open to the public. Lowe’s associates will be there to answer home improvement questions on popular topics like repairs, remodeling, paint colors and more. They will even have a garden expert on hand to give landscaping and pest control advice plus a demonstration on how to build a birdhouse, which makes for a great family project.

Lowe’s is currently training newly hired employees but is also still accepting applications for up to 160 positions. Anyone who is interested in filling out an application should visit the Lowe’s website at careers.lowes.com. Positions are being updated frequently and it’s recommended that applicants check the site regularly.

One thing’s for certain: Land O’ Lake residents are about to get a little more ‘handy’!
